General terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on linneelektronik.com for delivery to a country in the European Union. The shop is operated by Linne Elektronik Norden AB. By placing an order you accept these terms.

1. Company details

The Linné Elektronik shop is operated by:
Linne Elektronik Norden AB
Swedish company registration number: 556955-5211
VAT number: SE556955521101
Nordenskiöldsgatan 19, 413 09 Gothenburg, Sweden
Email: info@linneelektronik.com · Phone: +46 76 686 02 93 (weekdays 10:00–12:00 Swedish time)

2. Age limit

You must be at least 18 years old to shop with us. Anyone under 18 needs the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT. We sell from Sweden under the EU's One-Stop-Shop scheme (OSS), which means that the VAT of the country you have the goods delivered to applies. The price shown is the price you pay — it does not change with the delivery country. Shipping costs are added and shown at checkout before you confirm the order. We reserve the right to price changes, misprints and items selling out; the price that applies is the one shown when you place the order.

Payment method: payment is made securely through Svea Checkout by card (Visa or Mastercard). See our payment terms. Card details are encrypted (SSL/TLS) and are never stored by us — they are handled by the payment provider in accordance with the PCI DSS standard.

4. Contract and order

A binding purchase contract is formed when you have placed your order at checkout and we have sent an order confirmation accepting the order — regardless of the payment method. We reserve the right to decline an order if we suspect misuse, if the details provided are incorrect or if the item is out of stock. Obvious errors (for example clearly incorrect prices that you understood or should have understood to be wrong) do not bind us — you will be informed and any payment will be refunded immediately.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the countries of the European Union. Orders placed before 14:00 (Swedish time) on weekdays are normally dispatched the same day from our warehouse in Gothenburg, Sweden, provided the item is in stock. The delivery methods available for your country, with their price and estimated delivery time, are shown at checkout before you confirm the order.

Because deliveries take place within the EU, there are no customs duties or import charges on delivery. We do not deliver to territories that are outside the EU VAT area even though they belong to an EU country — for example the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the French overseas departments and territories, Heligoland, Büsingen, Livigno, Campione d'Italia and Mount Athos. We currently also do not deliver to the Azores and Madeira. The risk for the goods passes to you on delivery. See our delivery terms.

6. Uncollected parcels

Not collecting a parcel is not the same as exercising the right of withdrawal. If you do not collect your parcel within the time stated by the carrier, it is returned to us automatically. We may then charge the actual shipping costs in both directions; these are deducted from any refund and we always tell you the amount first.

If you want to withdraw from the purchase, please contact us actively within the withdrawal period (14 days) instead, so that we can handle the return correctly and you avoid unnecessary costs. See our returns policy.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, counted from the day you receive the goods. You may open and examine the product in the same way as you could in a shop. Tell us clearly that you want to withdraw before the period ends.

  • Days 1–14: right of withdrawal — you may open and try the product. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
  • Exception: hygiene products (for example in-ear headphones) whose seal has been broken cannot be returned.

We refund the payment to the same payment method within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have shown that you have sent them. See our returns policy and the withdrawal form.

8. Legal guarantee (liability for defects)

Under EU consumer law we are liable for defects that exist when the goods are delivered and become apparent within at least two years of delivery. Where the law of your country gives you longer protection, that applies. A defect that becomes apparent within the first year (two years in some countries) is presumed to have existed on delivery unless we show otherwise — you only need to describe the fault. We pay the return shipping for an approved complaint.

If a complaint is rejected after examination, reasonable examination and return costs may be charged. We always tell you about this before you send the product.

Our products are imported from, among other places, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Whatever the origin of the product, your statutory consumer rights always apply in full. See warranty and legal guarantee.

9. Personal data and privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The data we collect is used only to handle your order, the delivery and customer service. We never sell your personal data. See our privacy policy.

10. Limitation of liability and force majeure

We are not liable for indirect damage except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, actions by authorities, transport disruptions and disruptions at our suppliers.

11. Disputes and applicable law

Swedish law applies to these terms. This choice of law never deprives you of the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If a dispute cannot be resolved between us, you can turn to:

The European Consumer Centre in your country (ECC-Net) — ECC-Net — which gives free help with cross-border disputes. Because the seller is a Swedish company, you can also file a complaint with the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) — www.arn.se — which can handle complaints in English. You can always bring the matter before the courts of your country of residence.

12. Global import — how we source our products

Linné Elektronik is a parallel importer. We buy original products on the global market — not only from Nordic distributors. Parallel import is a fully legal form of trade within the EU and lets us cut out intermediaries and offer lower prices.

Depending on the model, your product may have been sourced from a supplier in Europe, the United States or Asia (typically Hong Kong). Whatever its origin, the product is new, original and in its unopened packaging.

Legal guarantee. Linné Elektronik is liable for defects in accordance with EU consumer law as described in section 8. If something happens, you contact us directly through customer service — you never need to deal with the manufacturer or a foreign party.

Power supply. Manufacturers usually no longer include a charger in the box (in line with the EU common charger rules). If the adapter in the original packaging does not follow the European plug standard, we always supply a suitable adapter free of charge.

Language. All devices we sell can be set to English as the system language.

13. Changes

We reserve the right to update these terms. The terms in force when you made your purchase apply to that purchase.
