Electronics recycling

Information on sorting, recycling and the consumer's responsibility.

Sorting electrical and electronic waste

Electronic products must not be thrown away with household waste. They must be taken to a municipal recycling centre or a retailer's collection point. The manufacturer has marked the products with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.

Why separate handling?

Separate handling of electrical and electronic waste makes it possible to recycle valuable materials and prevents substances that are harmful to the environment and health from escaping into nature, in line with the producer responsibility for electrical equipment.

Transport and return

You can hand in end-of-life electronic products free of charge at your nearest municipal recycling centre or at a retailer's collection point in your country. The collection system in your country is organised by its producer responsibility organisations and the municipalities.

Personal data on the device

Mobile phones and tablets may contain personal information. We recommend that you reset the device to its factory settings before handing it in for recycling. Instructions can be found on each manufacturer's website (for example Apple or Samsung).

Producer responsibility

Linne Elektronik Norden AB is registered with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket) as a producer of electrical equipment and meets the requirements of the Swedish producer responsibility regulation.
