Ledger Stax — the crypto wallet with curved touchscreen

Ledger Stax is Ledger's largest hardware wallet, roughly the size of a credit card. The 3.7-inch E Ink touchscreen curves around the edge, so you can name the device on the side and recognise it amongst others. You review and approve every transaction on the screen before it's sent.

Security chip and Ledger OS

Private keys are held in a certified security chip (Secure Element, CC EAL6+) and never leave the device. With the Ledger Wallet app (formerly Ledger Live) on your mobile or computer, you can buy, send, receive and stake cryptocurrencies — thousands of different ones, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Bluetooth, NFC and wireless charging

Stax connects via Bluetooth, NFC or USB-C and charges wirelessly with Qi. The battery lasts up to 10 hours with normal use. The magnets on the back mean several Stax units can be stacked together, and a Magnet Shell is included in the box.

Ledger Recovery Key included

Recovery Key is an NFC card that acts as an extra backup of your wallet. If you need to restore access, hold the card against the device instead of typing in your recovery phrase.

Good to know

Recovery phrase is yours: the wallet creates it when you start it for the first time. Ledger never asks for it — never share it with anyone.
Authentication: the Ledger Wallet app verifies that the device is genuine when you connect it.
Compatibility: Windows 10/11, macOS, Ubuntu LTS, iOS 14+ and Android 10+. Does not work with Chromebook.
