Description

A full phone that folds down into your pocket

Galaxy Z Flip8 in Graphite is made for you if you want a large screen without carrying around a large phone. Unfolded it's 6.9 inches and folded it fits in an inside pocket — 85.7 millimetres tall and 180 grams.

The screen is top-class, in both modes

The inside is a Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X at 6.9 inches with 120 Hz and 3,000 nits peak brightness — readable in direct sunlight and silk-smooth in motion. LTPO means the refresh rate automatically lowers when content is still, which saves battery without you noticing it.

The outer screen at 4.1 inches is more than just a clock. It runs apps, replies to messages and works as a viewfinder when you photograph with the main camera — which gives noticeably better selfies than a front camera.

Camera you can set down

The dual camera is led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide at 123 degrees beside it. The front camera is 10 megapixels and the phone films in 4K.

The foldable format gives you something no ordinary phone can do: fold it in half and it stands by itself. Group photo without an outstretched arm, time-lapse without a tripod, video call hands-free on the table.

Performance and updates

Exynos 2600 with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage keeps pace with everything from maps to games. The phone ships with Android 17 and One UI 9, and Samsung promises seven major Android updates — supported well into the 2030s.

The 4,300 mAh battery charges at 25 W via cable and 15 W wirelessly. IP48 means it can withstand submersion in water and protects against objects larger than 1 mm — but it is not dustproof.
