Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo Switch 2 – EU Version

This is the European version of Nintendo Switch 2 (Nintendo's article number 10015151) with a European power adapter. The console is the same hybrid as before – play on your TV via the dock, on a table with the stand, or as a handheld – but with a larger screen, more power and new magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers.

Larger screen and up to 4K on TV

The screen is a 7.9-inch LCD touchscreen in Full HD (1920×1080) with support for up to 120 frames per second and HDR10. In the dock, the console displays up to 4K on your TV in games that support it.

More power and more storage

Under the hood is a custom-built NVIDIA processor with 12 GB RAM. The internal storage is 256 GB and can be expanded up to 2 TB – note that this only works with microSD Express cards.

Joy-Con 2 and GameChat

Joy-Con 2 attaches magnetically to the console and can be used as a mouse by moving it across a surface. The C button on the right controller activates GameChat, where you can talk with friends while playing via the console's built-in microphone (requires Nintendo Switch Online).

Your Switch games come with you

Most games for the original Nintendo Switch work on Switch 2, both on cartridge and digitally. The console features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC for amiibo, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and two USB-C ports. The 5,220 mAh battery lasts approximately 2–6.5 hours depending on the game. With Joy-Con 2 attached, the console weighs 534 g.
