Leica Leitzphone — a camera that's also a phone

Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi is based on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra but is Leica's own version: knurled aluminium frame, Leica's red dot and a rotating ring around the camera module. Use the ring to control zoom, exposure, filters or switch lenses — just like a real camera. This version has 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.

Three 50+ MP cameras with Leica optics

The main camera features a 1-inch-class sensor (50 MP, 23 mm, f/1.67) with optical image stabilisation. The telephoto lens has 200 MP and continuous optical zoom from 75 to 100 mm, and the ultra-wide angle is 50 MP at 14 mm. The front camera also has 50 MP with autofocus. Video recording goes up to 8K.

Leica Essentials and Leica colour modes

In addition to Xiaomi's camera app, there are Leica's own modes: the colour profiles Leica Authentic and Leica Vibrant, Leica filters and the Leica Essentials mode, which emulates classic Leica cameras such as the M9 and M3 — the latter in black and white.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 6,000 mAh

Inside is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm) with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage. The display is a 6.9-inch AMOLED with 1–120 Hz and up to 3,500 nits. The 6,000 mAh battery charges at up to 90 W with cable and 50 W wirelessly. The phone is IP68-rated and runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3.
