Description

Honor Magic V6 – a foldable that barely feels like a weight

The Magic V6 unfolds to a 7.95-inch OLED display and folds down to a phone that's under a centimetre thick. The 6.52-inch outer screen is full-sized, so you won't need to unfold it to answer, pay or read a message. Both screens adjust from 1 Hz to 120 Hz, keeping motion smooth without unnecessary battery drain.

Power and battery

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 16 GB RAM drives the device, and the 6660 mAh battery uses silicon-carbon technology – which allows more capacity to fit in a slimmer chassis. Charging is 80 W wired and 66 W wireless.

Three cameras, all 50 MP or more

The main camera is 50 MP with f/1.6 and optical image stabilisation. The ultra-wide is also 50 MP, and the telephoto is a 64 MP periscope with 3x optical zoom and its own stabilisation. That's uncommon for a foldable, where the telephoto is usually the feature that gets dropped.

Built to handle everyday life

The hinge is Honor's Super Steel Hinge, and the phone is rated IP68 and IP69 – sealed against dust and water-resistant during normal use. The fingerprint reader is on the side, and Honor promises at least five years of security updates.
