POKEMON Special Box Fukuoka box Japanese

Pokémon Center Fukuoka — Japanese Special Box

The Special Box series is a collector's product line from The Pokémon Company in Japan. This box was released in summer 2025 to celebrate the renovation of Pokémon Center Fukuoka, alongside matching boxes for Tohoku and Hiroshima. In Japan, it was sold via lottery on Pokémon Center Online.

Contents

• 1 promo card (holo) — Fukuoka's Pikachu (フクオカのピカチュウ), card number 289/SV-P
• 64 card sleeves (Deck Shield)
• 1 card box (Deck Case)
• 1 long storage box (Long Card Box)

The box contains no booster packs. The promo card and accessories are the highlight.

The Promo Card: Fukuoka's Pikachu

The artwork is inspired by Fukuoka's food festivals — Pikachu among the street food and crowds. The card is a holographic promo from the SV-P series (Scarlet & Violet era) and is printed in Japanese.

Hoenn Meets Fukuoka

The card sleeves and boxes feature Pokémon from Hoenn gathered around a food stall. This choice is no coincidence: the Hoenn region in the games is based on Kyushu, the island where Fukuoka is located, and street food is one of the city's most famous attractions.

Condition

The box is sold unopened and factory-sealed, just as it arrived from Japan. If you want to keep the promo card in top condition, it's wise to leave the seal intact until you've decided.
