Description

Pokémon Center Tohoku — Japanese Special Box

The Special Box series are collector products from The Pokémon Company in Japan. This was released in summer 2025 to celebrate the reopening of Pokémon Center Tohoku, alongside matching boxes for Hiroshima and Fukuoka. In Japan, it was sold via lottery on Pokémon Center Online.

What's included

1 promo card (holo) — Tohoku's Pikachu (トウホクのピカチュウ), card number 260/SV-P
64 card sleeves (Deck Shield)
1 card box (Deck Case)
1 long storage box (Long Card Box)

The box contains no booster packs. The focus is on the promo card and accessories.

The promo card: Tohoku's Pikachu

The illustration is based on the festivals of the Tohoku region — Pikachu amid festival atmosphere. The card is a holographic promo from the SV-P series (Scarlet & Violet era) and is printed in Japanese.

Tohoku and its festivals

Tohoku is the region in northeastern Japan, known for its major summer festivals. Pokémon Center Tohoku reopened in March 2025 with these festivals as the theme, and this box was released to celebrate the reopening.

Condition

The box is sold unopened and factory sealed, just as it arrived from Japan. If you want to keep the promo card in top condition, it's wise to leave the seal intact until you've made your decision.
